Halfback Piri Weepu will hopefully make his long awaited return to Super Rugby this weekend, as he's expected to be named in the Hurricanes side to take on the Highlanders in Invercargil on Friday night.
Weepu broke his leg in last year's NPC and was due to return a fortnight ago, but took a knock to his leg in a club game.
He's looking forward to playing Super rugby again, but maybe not for the whole 80 minutes.
Ma'a Nonu is also expected to return to the side this weekend after fracturing his eye socket on their South African tour.
However Conrad Smith is still likely to be a week away.
