Second loss for NZ men's waterpolo team

The New Zealand men's waterpolo team has lost its second game at the the FINA World League tournament in Auckland, going down 17-3 to Japan.

New Zealand began badly with a 22-4 loss to Australia on Monday night.

The New Zealand women play the world number two ranked Australians tonight and China tomorrow night before the men take on Kazakhstan in the late game .

On Friday the men play China before the women play Japan.

Standings from the Auckland leg will be combined with next week's Sydney round with the top two teams progressing to the final eight for the World League Super Finals in Italy from June 21.

The winner of that tournament automatically qualifies for the London Olympics.
