Hockey's world governing body has unveiled plans for a franchise-based league competition in India, along the lines of the successful Indian Premier League cricket.
It's part of an initiative by the International Hockey Federation to boost the sport's profile worldwide, with India acting as "the hub".
The FIH president Leandro Negre says they need to find a window for the league which will be held some time after next year's London Olympics.
