Donald wants to commit to New Zealand

The former South Africa fast bowler Allan Donald is set to sign a two-year coaching deal with New Zealand Cricket after missing out on the position of bowling coach with the Australian team to Craig McDermott.

Donald, who has been with the Black Caps since December, told ESPN Cricinfo that he wants to commit to New Zealand.

Donald says New Zealand boss Justin Vaughn has been very patient with him.

Donald says he'd like to continue injecting forcefulness into the New Zealand fast bowlers.

He says there is no question that there is a talent there, but sometimes the New Zealand bowlers don't back themselves enough and it's about being a little arrogant and cocky.
