Mystics not entering into mind games

8:11 am on 14 May 2011

Northern Mystics coach Debbie Fuller isn't buying into the notion that the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic are chokers who fall short when the pressure's put on them.

The unbeaten Firebirds heaped the defensive pressure on the Magic last weekend in Queensland, while it was notable the Magic also fell by the wayside at home in Tauranga in round nine when the New South Wales Swifts stepped up the intensity.

Fuller would rather focus on her team than hand the Magic some motivation. She says she hasn't called the Magic chokers because she doesn't believe they are, they just had a bad day at the office.
