Joe Blackbourn won the middleweight title in an all-New Zealand final against Nick Charalpampous, after both fighters defeated Australian opponents in the semi-finals.
Blackbourn, a multiple New Zealand champion won 31-19.
Hugely experienced women's lightweight Alexis Pritchard beat Indian boxer Pinki Jangra by disqualification in round three for her gold while Deana Stephenson won her first international gold with an 8-4 points win over Australian Nancy Bifera in the welterweight class.
