The Wellington Phoenix have signed the Adelaide United midfielder Lucas Pantelis for the upcoming A-league football season.
The 29-year-old Pantelis has signed a two-year contract and will arrive in Wellington next month, and coach Ricki Herbert says he's delighted to sign a player who has made 101 A-League appearances for Adelaide United.
It's the Wellington club's second signing this month with former Perth Glory and North Queensland Fury fullback Jimmy Downey joining from Sparta Rotterdam two weeks ago.
