The Hurricanes lock Jeremy Thrush has been cleared of a late and dangerous tackle on Highlanders player Jason Rutledge by Super Rugby's judiciary.
Thrush had been cited for the tackle during his side's loss to the Highlanders last Friday in Invercargill.
SANZAR Judicial Officer Nick Davidson QC determined Thrush's intention was to tackle a player who was legitimately about to receive the ball and therefore the citing was not upheld.
