FIFA's president Sepp Blatter is supremely confident about being re-elected for a fourth term in charge of world football after winning the backing of Africa.
In what's seen as a major blow to his Asian challenger Mohammad bin Hammam, Blatter now has the support of four continents, although member countries are not obliged to obey their Confederations directions.
The outspoken 75 year old Swiss now says he can't lose the election on June the 1st, and he's already announced plans to make sure the first woman sits on FIFA's new executive committee. He's also accused England of sour grapes in the wake of their lost bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
Blatter is due to meet more than 40 African football leaders in a hastily arranged conference in Johannesburg this weekend, to discuss the legacy of last year's World Cup in South Africa.
