The All Blacks flanker Jerome Kaino will return to the Blues starting lineup for their Super Rugby match against the South African side the Stormers this week.
Kaino missed last week's loss to the Queensland Reds with a hamstring strain.
Hooker Tom McCartney will make his first start for the side, but it will be a loosehead prop.
Sherwin Stowers will start on the left-wing with Rene Ranger coming off the bench.
The Blues despite that loss to the Reds, are still top of the New Zealand conference while the Stormers who lost to the Chiefs last game remain at the top of the South African conference.
