The big-spending French rugby club Toulon has signed the Australian league player Willie Mason.
31 year old Mason had been sacked by his English Super League club Hull KR at the weekend, just three months into his three year contract after they learnt he had been to Toulon to meet with the club's directors.
Mason has signed a one year contract with Toulon for a reported 700-thousand dollars, and he's been offered a one year extension if he plays 15 games in the coming season.
