The New Zealand Rugby Union and the Chiefs have confirmed Hawke's Bay co-coach Tom Coventry as the new assistant to the incoming head coach Dave Rennie.
Coventry worked as the Chiefs' development coach before moving to Napier.
In August he will join Manu Samoa as forwards coach, before taking up his role with the Chiefs immediately after the Rugby World Cup.
