The New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic has been beaten in 3 sets by the Dutch player Arantxa Rus in the first round of the French Open in Paris.
Erakovic took the first set 6-2 before losing the next two 6-4, 6-4.
It was an even match however Rus did manage twice as many winners as Erakovic.
Rus will play second seed Kim Clijsters in the second round.
