The New Zealand and Australia based members of the All Whites got the hit-out they wanted ahead of their football friendlies against Mexico and Australia with a 4-1 win over a Waitakere United Invitational side in Auckland.
All members, apart from a not yet fully fit Mark Paston and a virus stricken Marco Rojas played with numbers boosted by a quartet of Under 20 players.
Coach Ricki Herbert was pleasantly surprised with the workout in which Ben Sigmund, Jeremy Brockie, Kosta Barbarouses and Tim Brown scored.
The New Zealand Under -20 defender Antony Hobbs chipped in a consolation goal for Waitakere as the All Whitesfailed to fully clear a corner.
They train twice more this week before flying out to Denver on Saturday afternoon, playing Mexico there next Thursday and Australia in Adelaide on Sunday week.
