Competing at the London Olympics is again a possibility for New Zealand showjumper Katie McVean with an offer to ride a top Dutch horse.

McVean who recently sold her planned Olympic mount Dunstan Delphi in a multi million dollar deal to a Saudi Arabian buyer is set to return to the Europe to continue her qualifying bid.

McVean firstly needs to qualify an individual spot for New Zealand at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen in Germany in July, which would also qualify her for possible selection in the New Zealand team.

Her new mount is Wavantos VD Renvillehoeve, an eight year old horse and McVean will head to the Netherlands next month to prepare for the Aachen event.
