Sepp Blatter is set to be re-elected for a fourth term in charge of world football after FIFA's ethics committee cleared its president in a bribery investigation, but temporarily suspended his only rival for the presidency Mohamad bin Hammam from Qatar and vice-president Jack Warner ffrom Trinidad.

After a hearing in Zurich overnight, the ethics committee has decided Blatter has no case to answer regarding allegations of corruption made against him.

Bin Hammam withdrew as presidential candidate yesterday leaving the way open for Blatter to be re-elected unopposed at the FIFA Congress on Thursday.
