New Zealand cricket players may refuse to play in the next Champions League Twenty-20 tournament with Central Districts still waiting on a pay out of almost $250 thousand.
The tournament which was held eight months ago is jointly run by the boards of Australia, South Africa and India with Central Districts qualifying as the New Zealand entrant.
While the CD players have received their participation fees they're still waiting on the prizemoney they earnt, despite coming last at the tournament.
The chief executive of the Cricket Players Association Heath Mills says the situation doesn't reflect well on the three boards involved.
Of the almost $250 thousand still owed half will go to the Central District players while the remainder is split between the Central Districts association and other five major cricket associations.
