Herbert hopeful of more internationals

The All Whites are hopeful of more international fixtures this year to follow up their hastily arranged matches against Mexico and Australia.

Coach Ricki Herbert says they accepted last week's games because FIFA decided to delay the start of the World Cup qualifiers from November until June of next year, although he might have decided differently had he known so many players were going to be unavailable.

Herbert says they'll seek out relevant opposition once their full World cup qualifying route is known, after the preliminary draw at the end of July.
