Hore disappointed to be forced out of the Hurricanes

Discarded Hurricanes players Ma'a Nonu and Andrew Hore both say they would have liked to have had another year with the Super Rugby franchise.

Both of the All Blacks have been told by coach Mark Hammett that they won't be offered contracts for next year.

Nonu and Hore say they're disappointed to be forced out, with the franchise captain Hore saying he would have liked to have been able to make his own decision about his future.

Hore says that caught him off-guard as he still thinks he's got something to offer, although it might have to be somewhere else.

He says he's mature enough and at a stage in his career where he won't let this setback get him down.

Nonu didn't comment on his future but has been linked with a move to Japan or the Chiefs.
