Plummer rates combinations ahead of results in Ferns series

The Australian netball coach Norma Plummer says she's more concerned about building combinations than beating the Silver Ferns going into the two test series starting tomorrow night in Palmerston North.

They're the only tests before next month's world championships in Singapore, ahead of a likely Trans-Tasman finals showdown in Singapore.

Plummer says although she demands her side treats every game as a must win, that's not the priority right now.

She says it's all about getting players in their combinations with very limited preparations before next month's World Champs.

And Plummer doesn't agree with suggestions that the series winner of will take a psychological edge.

These are the only two meaningful internationals before the world champs, so both coaches will be using them to fine tune their lineups, and shesays the series result won't necessarily say anything about the outcome in Singapore.
