Cruden not thinking about next move or World Cup

As the Super Rugby merry go round continues spinning, one of the All Blacks hoping to back up Dan Carter at the World Cup is reportedly considering a move away from the Hurricanes.

One News reports that the Chiefs are "understood to be" chasing Manawatu first five Aaron Cruden, who played in the victorious under-20 World Cup-winning side back in 2009 - under incoming Chiefs coach Dave Rennie.

Chiefs first-five Stephen Donald has reportedly signed with English rugby club Bath and Mike Delany's also thought to be heading offshore. So the Waikato-based side may be looking for a pivot - but Cruden admits his form suffered earlier this year when he had September's big tournament on his mind, so he's just taking it one game at a time.
