Jamaica's world and Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt has cruised past his rivals in his first 200 metre race in 13 months.

Bolt ran point six seven of a second outside his own world record in his favourite discipline, beating Norwegian Jaysuma Saidy Ndure in a time of 19 point eight six seconds at the Bislett Games in Norway

Another Jamaican, Mario Forsythe, was third in just under 20 and a half seconds.

South African Caster Semenya did not find the cool, damp conditions to her liking and seemed to lack power coming off the final bend, finishing third in the 800 metres behind Morocco's Halima Hachlaf and Russian Mariya Savinova.
