Diamonds to make changes for second Test

6:40 pm on 12 June 2011

The Silver Ferns get their chance to level the two-Test series against Australia in Auckland tonight but to do so they'll need a much improved performance from Thursday night's loss to the Diamonds in Palmerston North.

New Zealand were outclassed on Thursday and coach Ruth Aitken is under pressure to decide on her strongest line-up and salvage the series and some pride.

The winner of tonight's game will also take bragging rights and a psychological edge into next month's world champs in Singapore, however despite finding the winning formula on Thursday, the Diamonds coach Norma Plummer says she's still searching for the best combinations.

The game gets underway at 7.30pm.
