Hurricanes sign up 3 players

The Hurricanes have signed up three more players for next year with the acquisition of New Zealand Maori prop Ben May and lock James Broadhurst and utility back Charlie Ngatai extending their contracts.

With the loss of Neemia Tialata and John Schwalger overseas, the Hurricanes have picked up May from the Chiefs.

23-year-old Broadhurst has signed on for another two years, while 20-year-old Ngatai will be hoping for better luck next season after breaking his ankle in the win over the Reds at the end of April.

Veterans Andrew Hore and Ma'a Nonu were told last week they wouldn't be offered contracts for next year.
