The women's world tennis number two Kim Clijsters has withdrawn from next week's Wimbledon Championships because of a foot injury.
The 28-year-old, who would have been seeded second for the tournament had a recurrence of a foot problem at a tournament in the Netherlands.
With world number one Caroline Wozniacki named top seed, Vera Zvonareva becomes the new second seed, French Open winner Li Na third, Victoria Azarenka fourth and former champion Maria Sharapova fifth.
