Corlett set to make Super Rugby debut

Just a couple of days shy of his 32nd birthday, the Taranaki hooker Laurence Corlett is set to make his Super Rugby debut for the Hurricanes, while Andrew Hore and Ma'a Nonu are set to play their last matches for the franchise.

It is believed Corlett will become the oldest Super Rugby debutant if he gets off the bench for the Hurricanes in their last 2011 match against the Crusaders in Wellington on Saturday.

Regular reserve hooker Dane Coles offered to stand down this weekend to give Corlett a chance to play.

Corlett made his first class debut for Canterbury in 2001 and is relishing the opportunity to get on the field at this level.

The Hurricanes have named an unchanged starting lineup, while there is just one change in the Crusaders XV with Ryan Crotty replacing the injured Sonny Bill Williams.
