Another win for NZ women's golf team

The New Zealand women's amateur golf team remains unbeaten after two days of the Astor Trophy at Lytham St Annes in England following a 4-1 victory over Canada.

New Zealand beat South Africa on the opening day and will play Australia tonight.

The team is headed by Lydia Ko and Cecilia Cho.

Formerly known as the Commonwealth Tournament, the Astor Trophy is contested every four years between teams of top women amateur golfers from Great Britain & Ireland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa.

The format is two foursomes and five singles matches each day.
