The Crusaders have finished third on the table after regular season of the Super Rugby competition and claimed the New Zealand conference title with a gutsy 16-9 win over the Hurricanes in Wellington last night.

The Blues sitting fourth, are the other New Zealand side to proceed to the top-six play-offs.

The Queensland Reds finished their regular season in style by locking up the Minor Premiership with an entertaining 19-11 victory over the Chiefs in Hamilton yesterday.

The Sydney-based Waratahs qualified for the Super Rugby finals after a convincing 41-7 victory over the Brumbies at ANZ Stadium in Sydney last night.

The Blues will host the Waratahs in the first round of play-offs in Auckland this Friday following the Sharks 26-23 victory over the Bulls in Pretoria overnight.

And the Stormers win over the Cheetahs this morning puts them second overall and means the Sharks will play the Crusaders in Nelson on Saturday.
