Rick Kelly has scored his second win for the season with a spectacular victory in the opening race of the V8's in Darwin yesterday.
After claiming pole, Ford Driver Mark Winterbottom led for 36 of the race's 42 laps before he was one of the big name victims of a controversial re-start.
Kelly then jumped from fifth to first on lap 37, avoiding a skirmish at the first corner to drive to a comfortable victory, the 11th race win of his career.
The win sees Kelly jump to third place in the 2011 V8 Supercars Championship points standings.
Jamie Whincup maintains his series lead, ahead of Craig Lowndes and Kelly.
