Sivivatu shoulder injury not as bad as first thought

The shoulder injury to All Blacks winger Sitiveni Sivivatu isn't as bad as first thought and he should be right for the All Blacks' Tri-Nations campaign.

Sivivatu came off during the first half of the Chiefs match against the Queensland Reds in Hamilton on Saturday night with a suspected dislocated shoulder.

But Chiefs physiotherapist Paul Cameron says the Sivivatu didn't completely dislocate the shoulder and he now has full movement and good strength in it.

Sivivatu will visit an orthopedic surgeon to have the injury checked as it was the same shoulder he had operated on last year.

Cameron says Sivivatu shouldn't be out for more than a couple of weeks.

The first All Blacks Test of the year is against Fiji in Dunedin on July 22nd with their opening Tri-Nations Test against South Africa a week later in Wellington.
