The defending champion Rafa Nadal has advanced to third round at Wimbledon with a straight sets second round win over American Ryan Sweeting.
Nadal won the match 6-3 6-2 6-4.
It wasn't nearly so straightforward for five time champions Venus Williams in the women's draw however.
Williams had to struggle back from 5-1 down in the first set to beat 40-year-old Japanese Kimiko Date-Krumm 6-7 6-3 8-6 in a match lasting almost htree hours.
