Burgess blow adds to Waratahs woes

The Wallabies halfback Luke Burgess joined the New South Wales Waratahs' already long injury list when he broke his hand at training yesterday just before the squad left for Auckland and tomorrow night's Super rugby playoff against the Blues.

26-year-old Burgess, who's leaving Australia to play in France after the World Cup, joins 11 other Waratahs regulars unavailable for the first round of the playoffs.

The Blues have made only one change to the side that beat the Highlanders last weekend, with halfback Alby Mathewson returning to the starting lineup.
