The Indian cricketers have completed a 63-run victory over the West Indies inside four days in the first Test at Sabina Park in Jamaica.

The home side resumed on 131 for three, needing a further 195 runs to secure victory, but their hopes were soon extinguished with Praveen Kumar finishing with three wickets for 42 as the Windies were bowled out for 262.

This is just the fifth time India have won a Test match in the Caribbean , but they have not lost a Test in the West Indies since 2002.

The second Test begins in Bridgetown, Barbados next Wednesday.
