Another world title for Baby Blacks

The New Zealand under 20 rugby side had history to maintain as they claimed New Zealand's 4th successive IRB Junior World Championship title.

The 33-22 victory over England in the final, means New Zealand extended their unbeaten run in the tournament to 20 matches.

The win means the Baby Blacks are yet to taste defeat in the history of the Under 20 tournament, but they came the closest yet to losing against a physical and competitive England side.

But first five Gareth Anscombe, who ended as the tournament's leading points scorer and was named man of the match in the final, says the tradition of the New Zealand game certainly helped them and they had some inspirational men presenting the jersey during the tournament.

Gareth Anscombe is now likely to be involved in Auckland's NCP campaign.
