The New Zealand single scullers Mahe Drysdale and Emma Twigg have both finished second in their respective races at the Holland Beker regatta in Amsterdam.
Drysdale was pipped by point 3 of the second by reigning World Champion Ondrej Synek of the Czech Republic.
Ekaterina Karsten of Belarus won the women's title for the eleventh time.
