The Dual international Mat Rogers has confirmed he is coming out of retirement to play the remainder of the National Rugby League season with Gold Coast.

Rogers has confirmed speculation that the Titans had registered his playing contract with the NRL just days before the June 30 deadline.

The 35-year-old, who retired at the end of last season, said he badly wanted to help the struggling side, which is languishing at the foot of the competition ladder.

He could turn out for the Titans as soon as their clash with the Warriors in Auckland on Friday week.
