Ferns loving Singapore heat

The Silver Ferns have come through their second day of training unscathed after arriving in Singapore for the Netball World Championship, which starts on Sunday, and the team are loving the South-east Asian climate to boot.

The Ferns say they're more than enjoying the balmy 29 degree heat and the impressive training facilities in Singapore and confirmed the squad is fully fit and raring to go as they plan and prepare for their assault on the World Championship crown.

The Silver Ferns say they're using their Dehli Commonwealth games gold medal as inspiration for their attempt to reclaim the World Champs title off arch rivals Australia after their trans-tasman foes won the last tournament in 2007.
