The All Blacks captain Richie McCaw is a confirmed starter for the Crusaders, in their Super rugby semi final against last year's runners-up the Stormers, in Cape Town, in South Africa, this weekend.

McCaw hasn't played for over a month having been sidelined because of foot pain after surgery for a stress fracture.

McCaw will replace Matt Todd at openside flanker in the only change to the starting lineup which beat the South African side the Sharks in the quarterfinals in Nelson last weekend.

Number eight Kieran Read who suffered an ankle injury in the match has also been cleared to play.

The match will also mark hooker Corey Flynn's 100th game for the franchise.
