Former Wellington Phoenix football player Troy Hearfield scored the only goal as his new A-League side Central Coast claimed a massive scalp with a 1-0 victory over Scottish giants Celtic in a pre-season friendly in Sydney.
Hearfield came on as a second half substitute at ANZ Stadium and scored the well-taken goal in the 87th minute after Celtic had failed to clear a cross from the left.
The match between last season's Australian and Scottish league runners-up produced few clear cut chances. Neither goalkeeper was forced into a significant save in the first half.
