Argentina has beaten New Zealand 3-2 in their Champions Trophy clash in Amsterdam, ending the national women's hockey team's chances of making the final.
The Black Sticks trailed 3-0 before defender Clarissa Eshuis scored from a penalty corner in the last second of the first half to give New Zealand a chance.
Then striker Charlotte Harrison scored from a goalmouth scramble to take the Black Sticks within a goal of Argentina.
Neither side could score again but both now meet again overnight in the bronze medal match.
