The Black Sticks women have won New Zealand's first ever medal at the Champions Trophy hockey tournament beating South Korea 3-2 in the bronze medal match in Amsterdam.
The Black Sticks were originally set to play Argentina for third, but the South Americans successfully appealled and went into the gold medal match against the Netherlands.
The New Zealanders led 2-nil at half time, but struggled to hold on in the second half before Charlotte Harrison scored the winner in the last minute.
