The Springbok flanker Schalk Burger will be out of action for up to 2 months after suffering a hand injury in the Super Rugby semi-final loss to the Crusaders on Sunday.
Burger has had an operation on his hand and been told he'll be unavailable for 6 to 8 weeks.
Burger will miss the Tri-Nations, but will be available for the World Cup.
