NSW coach gracious in series defeat

New South Wales coach Ricky Stuart was gracious in defeat after the Blues gallant 34-24 defeat in the State of Origin league series decider against Queensland last night in Brisbane.

The Maroons set up their sixth straight series win with 24 unanswered points in the first 33 minutes, to give their retiring skipper Darren Lockyer a fitting farewell.

Stuart, who revelled in mind games throughout the series, gave credit to Queensland for their ability to bounce back, saying they deserved all the credit, and they're beautiful to watch when you're not coaching against them.

Stuart said he loved his Origin experience and couldn't wait to do it again.
