All Blacks may look to rest individuals

8:54 am on 7 July 2011

The All Black coaches say they'll be playing their best side in the Tri-Nations, but have left open the option of resting a few players at the same time.

Steve Hansen says they don't have the luxury that some other countries have that the World Cup is enought, they want to win every game.

The Springboks say 21 players are on intense rehabilitation programmes and won't be available to play in the away matches in the Tri Nations.

Hansen says their won't be a blanket policy of resting players with the World Cup in mind, but they will look at individual cases....

The Tri-Nations squad will be named on Sunday and Hansen says it's likely they'll select just one openside flanker as Richie McCaw hasn't played that much this season and he'll probably want to play every game.
