Mixed results for NZ sailors at World Youth champs

12:57 pm on 12 July 2011

It's been a day of mixed results for the New Zealand Yachting Trust youth team at the World Championships in Croatia with Tomer Simhony and Ellie Copeland remaining the best placed, tied for second in the SL16 multihull class.

But after three days the points gap to the leading Brazilians has widened and

their margin over the chasing pack has diminished.

Jack Simpson and Logan Dunning-Beck in the 29er class are the next best placed of the New Zealanders although they've slipped one place to fourth.
