Tiger Woods has sacked his longtime New Zealand caddie Steve Williams.
In a brief statement published on his website, Woods has expressed his deepest gratitude to Williams for all his help, but he thinks its time for a change.
He describes Williams as an outstanding caddie and a friend who's been instrumental in many of his accomplishments and he wishes him great success in the future.
Woods hasn't named a replacement caddie, while Steve Williams is now likely to cement his partrnership with the Australian Adam Scott with whom he's been working while Woods has been injured.
