Wellington golfers Mark Brown and Michael Campbell have both missed the cut at the Scandinavian Masters in Stockholm.

Brown couldn't back up his even par opening round of 72, blowing out with a 75 while Campbell's one under 71 still wasn't good enough after his first round 75.

Local hope Alexander Noren briefly held the Bro Hof Slott course record as he carded a six under 66 to open a three-stroke lead over India's Shiv Kapur after the second round.

Noren, the Wales Open winner, took 31 shots on the front nine on the way to an 11-under total of 133.
