Manawatu has beaten Northland 30-22 in their provincial rugby Championship match in Palmerston North.
It's the first time Manawatu's tasted victory over the Taniwha since 1993, the Turbos also maintaining their unbeaten home record so far this season.
It was 15-15 at half-time.
