The Junior All Whites have drawn 1-all with the Southern California football club in the United States in their final warm up before the FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Colombia.
Like the 2-1 loss to Ventura County the Junior All Whites finishing did not match their creativity and Southern California made them pay with a 89th minute goal.
The Junior All Whites arrive in Colombia on Monday and with their World Cup opener against Cameroon just a week away coach Chris Milicich is happy with the American leg of the team's build-up.
They face Cameroon on Sunday morning before playing Uruguay on Wednesday werek and completing pool play against Portugal on Saturday week.
All of New Zealand's Group B games will be played in the city of Cali.
