FIFA's president Sepp Blatter has promised "zero tolerance" in the battle against corruption that has plunged football into a series of damaging scandals in the last 12 months.
Blatter took a defiant stand as he faced reporters just three days after former ally and Asian football boss Mohamed bin Hammam was banned for life on bribery charges.
He's in Rio de Janeiro to attend this weekend's draw for the 2014 World Cup and has hit back bin Hammam's accusation that he acts like a dictator.
Blatter also refused to respond to Bayern Munich's Karl-Heinz Rummenige's statement that no-one believes he's cleaning up the game.
And he would not comment on bin Hamman's punishment, saying it is a matter for FIFA's ethics committee.
